Dandelion Farewells, offering a personal approach to saying farewell

In this extended video, we look deeper into how at Dandelion Farewells we are here to help you decide what will create the most fitting occasion to remember your special person.

A Simple Dandelion Farewell. As an alternative to a bespoke tailored funeral service, Dandelion Farewells can also provide the simplest of funerals.

So what does it mean to have a ‘green’ funeral?

In death, as in life, there are a few things to consider for the environmentally conscious person who wishes to ‘tread lightly on the earth, minimising any negative environmental impacts. Natural burial (sometimes also called woodland or green burial) is the most ecological funeral option: a thoughtful legacy for future generations.

A natural burial can be part of a traditional funeral, or a completely different and individual celebration of your choice, perhaps utilising the ceremony room available at the burial ground (where available).

Dandelion dreams has been gently nurtured and established within Dandelion Farewells, in response to the unique needs of a family experiencing the loss of a pregnancy, stillbirth or the death of a baby or child.

We recognise that these sensitive circumstances require special support, understanding and dedicated time. Dandelion dreams is specifically available to draw alongside you to offer guidance in the most helpful direction to suit you and your family’s needs.

Our individual approach to funerals helps people explore the many options available to them. In our experience, many of those who have died had not thought or talked about their funeral choices, causing difficulties for their families when making decisions.

Dandelion Farewells has put in place a range of support and resources to extend our commitment to you beyond the time of planning and holding the funeral. Your well-being is important to us and we recognise that you may benefit from further guidance, to uphold you through the practical and emotional adjustments to find your ‘new normal’ following your recent bereavement. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Our elements of aftercare are freely available to help you make sense of your experience.
