What will it cost?
Many crematoria and burial grounds charge just a small administration fee when the person who has died is an infant or child. Sometimes there will be no charge at all. Similarly, most ministers and celebrants apply a reduced rate for services for children.
In line with this, we will provide our full professional service (as listed above) for a modified fee of £250. This amount does not include additional costs such as a casket/coffin, flowers or specialist vehicles but we can provide transparent costings, and a number of options for these, relative to your budget and requirements.
In charging a small fee, we can ensure that a dedicated member of staff is on hand to fully support you through the process of arranging a funeral. This will also enable us to commit to sustaining this service so that it can be available to families in need in the future.
There are a number of charity initiatives which provide donated items or financial support in these circumstances, to enable and empower families to seek choices at this difficult time. Dandelion dreams is committed to helping families access these resources if requested.
Held in our heart – sensitive to your unique circumstances – we will always approach every situation with compassion, care, sensitivity and an open mind whilst being sympathetic to your particular customs.
Held in our heart – you choose – burial or cremation; religious or secular; celebrant, minister or family led; a small, intimate gathering or a larger, more formal service; we are here to help you to decide what will create the most meaningful and fitting farewell for you.
