My Wishes, My Way is an informal, interactive presentation created by Dandelion Farewells
Our individual approach to funerals helps people explore the many options available to them. In our experience, many of those who have died had not thought or talked about their funeral choices, causing difficulties for their families when making decisions.
My Wishes, My Way has been developed as a free workshop for anyone who would like to explore and understand the funeral decisions that need to be made on your behalf or those of others. It will give an insight into the choices and costs around funerals and the elements that your family will need to know about your personal wishes. By learning about what is possible, and maybe even planning ahead, not only can you save your family the worry of trying to discern what you would have wanted, you could also personalise your last celebration, ensuring that it reflects what is important to you.
My Wishes, My Way is offered with no commitment to Dandelion Farewells services – we do not have anything that anyone can sign up to. We speak honestly and openly with the intention and hope that you will gain:

Dandelion Farewells is passionate about empowering individuals and families to honour the lives of their loved ones, and to say goodbye to them in the manner most suited to their personal circumstances and wishes. We are keen to share our knowledge and insight of the funeral profession and help you to make sense of what can often seem to be a confusing and complicated process.

My Wishes, My Way presentations can be delivered in a variety of ways. We are able to host larger numbers in community venues; small groups in private homes or attend independent functions or meetings as a visiting speaker.
Light refreshments will be provided and resources will be available for you to take away.
You can ask questions or just take a seat and listen. It won’t be depressing and there may even be laughter. Dying really does matter, so let’s get it out in the open.
