Dandelion Farewells is able to provide a range of services and resources on your behalf. We are available to work in partnership with you on many of these, to enable your involvement and consider more moderate costs. You may wish to consider taking an active part in some or many aspects of the funeral. We invite you to discuss your requirements with us.

Professional Services We will meet you in the convenience of your own home or you can visit us in our comfortable lounge at our premises, nestled in the village of Wisborough Green, to discuss the funeral you need to arrange. You will be provided with comprehensive information to guide the decisions you want to make and we will endeavour to ensure that you do not feel overwhelmed by all the details. You will be kept informed on the progress of all the arrangements and advised at every step of the way. We are available to respond to your queries as they arise, recognising that this may be in the evening or at weekends. We will collect the person who has died (within 30 mile radius of Horsham) and care for them until the date of the funeral. We will co-ordinate the completion of all the necessary paperwork for burial or cremation and ensure that these are delivered accordingly. On the day of the funeral, we will transport the coffin in our modern vehicle and provide staff to carry the coffin. You will be guided by us throughout the day and we will ensure that the arrangements are completed just as you requested. We are dedicated to supporting your involvement in elements of the funeral which you feel are significant for you to assist with. Dandelion Farewells provides you with the personal attention you need during this time of planning and preparing for a funeral. Each funeral is tailored to the needs of the individual family and we assure you of our understanding and support throughout the process of making arrangements for this occasion.

Additional costs
There is a significant variance of products and costs. This information is intended as a general guide to assist you as you consider some of these aspects of the funeral.
Our call-out services outside of our normal working hours – between 6pm and 9am, and during weekends and bank holidays: £225
Disbursements are fees paid on your behalf before the funeral and we may request payment for these charges to be made to Dandelion Farewells prior to the day of the funeral:
Cost of cremation (this will vary according to which crematorium is chosen). As a guide: Worthing Crematorium: £995;
Guildford Crematorium: £895; Chichester Crematorium: £1070
Doctors’ certificates required for a cremation to take place (other than if authorised by the coroner): £164

Cost of burial, including the grave and interment fee (this will vary according to which cemetery or burial ground is chosen). As a guide: Hills Cemetery, Horsham: from £1870; Clandon Wood Natural Burial Reserve, near Guildford: from £2440
Charges made by places of worship, minister or celebrant fee: £220
Our additional cost for a service in a local place of worship prior to the cremation or burial: £240
Additional vehicle hire: traditional hearse or limousine: £250 each. Other transport available. Please request to see our information about alternative vehicles.
Coffin (there is a wide variety available and prices vary according to specification and materials chosen). As a guide: oak veneered: £350; willow: £550; plain cardboard coffin: £260; cardboard contemporary themed coffin from £450; solid pine with rope or wooden handles: £580.

A range of ashes caskets and scatter tubes are available.
Assistance may also be provided to arrange for floral tributes,

newspaper announcements and orders of service. Guide prices are available upon request.

Payment Details
To maintain our fair and modest schedule of costs we ask for all charges and fees to be paid within fourteen days following the date of the funeral. Your co-operation is appreciated.
